PRIVACY

Your privacy is part of the product.

OutCue uses phone verification and a fixed library of 20 messages to keep cue delivery private, limited, and consistent with its intended purpose.

Phone verification

Before scheduling, OutCue sends a one-time code to confirm that you control the destination phone. A signed verification token is then kept on your device so you do not need an OutCue account or profile. The verification provider processes the phone number and code according to its own privacy terms.

Cue delivery

OutCue accepts only the 20 approved cue messages shown on the site. Your selected cue and verified phone number are placed in a delayed Cloudflare queue until the chosen send time, then passed to the SMS provider. The provider is instructed to discard message content after sending and obfuscate the destination address in its records. Limited data may still be retained where required for delivery, fraud prevention, billing, or legal compliance.

Local device data

Your browser stores the signed phone-verification token and current countdown so the site can remember your status on that device. You can remove this information by clearing site data in your browser.

Advertising

OutCue may show clearly labeled third-party advertising to keep the service accessible. Optional advertising technology is inactive until a visitor chooses to allow advertising cookies. Advertisers do not receive phone numbers, verification codes, cue selections, or scheduled delivery times from OutCue.

Your choices

You can decline optional advertising cookies and continue using the cue service. You may reply STOP to the generic sending number to opt out of future SMS delivery through that number.

Safety

OutCue is a social exit aid, not an emergency service. SMS delivery can be delayed or filtered by carriers. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.
